Shelly,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved son Nicholas.  The passing of a child is something that no parent should ever have to endure.   I must assume that you were a wonderful mother to Nicholas, raising him to be good and kind.   So good and kind that God needed him by his side.   Nicholas will be your forever Angel - watching over you and keeping you safe.   My sincerest condolences.

Sherry and Shelly:
I was very sorry to hear the news of Nicholas's passing. Although it's been many years I remember Nicholas as a little boy, and I remember he was Sherry's pride and joy.
I hope you can find peace and know that this is not the end of his journey. he will always be with you.
Sincerely,
Carol Close

"Mark my grave, and call the winds of torment
Oh, remember me now, and feed the wind with your dreams
Feel my name, and feel my blood in your veins
Now the tide will turn, I will live on through you
Mark my name upon the flesh you create
No, don't cry for me, my son, myself

I am waiting my son, on the threshold to the other side
Cannot tell you what is here
What I see now is beyond your mind

I am formless, but I feel
All the questions burning in your head
Learn your lesson and never grieve
For there is no beginning, and there is no end

I'm standing at the door of time, I see life complete

Truth is never what is seems
Bodies wither, but your mind still dreams
No one ever can rest in peace
Until they've learned the game and become light to darkness
See me shine

I'm standing at the door of time, I see life complete
Oh father where will I be when I meet my time?
You will pass on and follow me, into the sanctuary

I am in the mirror, see my reflection in the stars
And as you search for truth, so I will shine to spur you on
Spur you on
Bathe in the pure truth of my light

Time is an illusion, death is not conclusion

All those who seek the truth will questions still remaining
Now listen closely, and all will be so clear
I am a messenger, a bringer of light from the other side
So chosen now to teach while drifting between lives
Drifting, drifting

I will be reborn "

Deep Conversations missed...  / Brian Buchner (Friend)
First off let me say I'm deeply sorry to Nick's family, his mom and aunt.  I feel your loss with you.  Nick's a guy I've know for quite a long time although it was only within the past 2-3 years that I really got to know him.  We would all hang out at Shawn's and BS for hours upon hours.  I felt like Nick was a kindred spirit, perhaps the only type of person who is ever capable of understanding me on a real level (all the people at Shawn's are like that really).  Pat Mielke said that he though I brought out Nick's Inner Child, a profound compliment bestowed.  I could feel that too.  He would get this "Ready to cause mischief" sorta smile whenever I showed up there.  I miss it.  I would talk to Nick at length about government conspiracy, spirituality (especially the Toltec way of life, Carlos Casteneda and Don Miguel Ruiz), music, and games.  He was someone who understood my passion with these things and I also in him.  He was always a welcome guest at any parties I threw, most especially "Buchner-Palooza" in 2004 where he and Shawn were the last 2 guys to leave.  It was such a great party thanks to guys like him.  Upon leaving, he says to me as I was packing up my car "Looks like it was a great day in Brian-Halla!" (Valhalla reference for those that didn't catch it).  I laughed heartilly at this comment as it was such a "Nick" thing to say, profound on many levels, true, and hillarious all at the same time.  All these moments I will remember forever, they are tatooed on my brain.  I will miss him very much as we all will.  I listen to Pantera's "Hollow" as I write this and I feel his prescence.  A truelly great man has gone off to legend.  Have fun in Nick-Halla dude!  You will be missed... Sherry's Angel  / Donna Platco (Friend of Sherry )
I have never met Nick. But I am a friend of Sherry his aunt.

I have been friends with Sherry for many years now.  Nick meant the world to her. As much as she talked about you Nick and doted on you it was like we all knew you too.

Many times when you were in Florida Sherry invited me fishing with you and her, but I declined only because fishing was not my thing.
Whenever it came to you Nick, Sherry always got excited and wanted all of her friends to meet you.

The love she has for you is definitely unconditional.  Even though you are no longer here, just know that there will always be a special place in Sherry's heart when it comes to you Nick !

Rest in peace....      D. Platco Close

I never met Nick, but I saw and heard the love, respect and personal sacrifice Sherry had for this very special young man. It seems Nick touched many lives around him in very special ways. He will be saddly missed, by all who knew him, but not forgotten. Maybe his purpose on this earth was to remind all of us how prescious and short life truely can be and that love, friendship and family have a significant role in how we spend that life. GOD BLESS and may you be comforted by the thought that he is now watching over those he loves. How we plotted  / Sharon Wickham (Friend)
Oh how we plotted to : conqure new worlds, find peaceful soultions to world problems, find the percect blend of tabacco, the demise of our arch enemy Zerba Zerth, and so many other things in the six years we were friends. The hours we spent talking about anything and everything, playing "The Game", listening to music, and just  catching the right "vibe". You will be missed "Old Man" more then you ever knew. Love you  Close
